Steps for making chicken pie
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. I'm sure all components were pre - cut and measured.
- Put the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Melt the butter and then add the chicken pieces, carrot, celery, onion, salt, garlic powder, thyme and pepper. Stir frequently and cook until the chicken is tender.
- Add the flour to the chicken: mix the vegetables until all the flour is moist. Slowly add the cream, then the chicken stock. Cook until the mixture is spoiled and thickened. Stir frequently.
- Remove the pie mixture from the heat, mix with the frozen peas and parsley. Allow the mixture to cool for about 30 minutes before filling the pie crusts.
- Place the inner pie crusts in two 9-inch deep pans or pans. Divide the heart of the cooled cake evenly between the two cakes. We cover each cake with a second crust.
