Steps to prepare a chicken sukkah

  1. Store dry roasted coconut. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add onion, ginger and garlic. Fry until light brown, add garam masala chips and fry for less than a minute. Turn off the stove and let it cool
  2. Marinate the chicken with curd and salt. Set aside
  3. Place the roasted coconut and onion mixture in a blender and blend well with little water if needed
  4. Heat 1 1/2 tsp oil, add hing/hing, bay leaf, cumin and curry leaves. Add coconut and onion mixture and cook. Then add red chilli powder, turmeric and malvani masala along with salt as needed. Cool well.
  5. Finally add the marinated chicken and tomatoes, mix well. Add some water and boil. 1 pipe is enough if cooking in pressure cooker. Serve with chapatis or as an appetizer.
